Lockie Leonard (Series 1) is a 26 part half hour children's drama based on the much loved books by Tim Winton.

Lockie Leonard, hot surf-rat is twelve and three quarters year old, and his family have just moved to the most remote town on earth, Angelus.

Produced by Essential Viewing Group for the Nine Network, Nickleodeon and ScreenWest, the series was shot over a 5 month period in Albany WA in 2006.
